OUR STORY

Homayoun Nemazee is a prominent art collector and patron with a deep family legacy in fine art, whose collection of Western, Iranian and Islamic art spans generations. Homayoun was surrounded from childhood by rare antiquities, carpets and paintings. The family’s collection, renowned for its breadth and historical significance, has been a source of inspiration and artistic education.

Driven by this heritage, Homayoun has made it his mission to bridge past and present, championing the next generation of Iranian artists both inside Iran and abroad. His passion for fine art began as an extension of family interests but soon developed its own character - seeking out emerging talent whose work might otherwise go unnoticed internationally.
With a fascination for cultural dialogue and artistic innovation, Homayoun founded Nemazee Fine Art in 2019, creating a platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of a new generation of Iranian creatives.

Homayoun curates and collaborates with artists in Iran and prominent galleries in Europe and the United States on exhibitions that explore themes of identity, displacement, resistance, and transformation.
Through a thoughtful curation of multimedia, painting, photography, and installation work, Nemazee Fine Art aims to challenge dominant narratives and foster a more open understanding of contemporary Iranian art.

Nemazee Fine Art has gained international recognition through its regular participation in the Photo London fair and subsequent awards received by its represented artists. The gallery stands out for its thoughtful programming, collaborations with institutions and dedication to emerging talent. Homayoun seeks to serve as a bridge between the Iranian art scene and the global art market.
